Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial account manager role.
• Current property/casualty license.
• Experience with agency management software (preferably Sagitta).
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of commercial insurance lines.
• Proven ability to effectively negotiate rates and coverage with underwriters.
• Excellent communication skills with clients during the sales and/or service processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and effective communication with all clients via email, letters and telephone.
• Review client needs and advise on insurers, coverage and pricing.
• Prepare insurance applications for required coverage lines.
• Create accurate, timely and compliant market and client documents.
• Review client contracts and insurance requirements.
• Issue certificates of insurance and coverage binders.
• Invite renewals and maximize retention and new business.
• Maintain electronic client files and relevant reports.
• Coordinate with insurers regarding client policies and requirements.
