Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of medical billing experience, strong MS Office skills, and a focus on accuracy and customer service.

Qualificações

• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Customer focused with attention to detail; ability to multi-task and communicate effectively.
• Familiarity with medical billing and healthcare office experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years medical billing experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Completes all third party electronic and manual billing timely and accurately in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.
• Completes all payer-specific edits identified through the billing system.
• Resolves issues with incomplete claims including follow-up of non-transmitted claims.
• Submits adjustment claims to Medicare/Medicaid through online systems.
• Attaches supporting documents when billing manual claims (ER reports, itemized bills, implant invoices).
• Bulk mails all manual claims to payers daily.
• Maintains daily productivity records and ensures proper documentation in patient accounting notes.
