Universal Health Services, Inc. seeks a Revenue Cycle Claims Specialist to process insurance claims for assigned facilities, collect payments, and ensure timely reimbursement. The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and collaborative problem solving with insurers, facilities, and patients.

You will follow up on denials, assist with payment plans, review EOBs, and support ongoing revenue cycle improvements in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Competenze

• High School graduate or GED required; vocational/technical preferred.
• 1–3 years related experience; 3–5 years preferred.
• Understanding of billing requirements for commercial payers and Medicaid.
• Familiarity with UB04 and CMS-1500 claim forms.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Basic medical coding and third-party operating procedures.

Mansioni

• Process filing for all assigned claims and follow up daily to minimize denials.
• Review insurance correspondence and correct claims to ensure proper payment.
• Follow up on denials promptly; handle re-bill requests as needed.
• Explain benefits to patients and collect payments; discuss payment plans when needed.
• Monitor eligibility of benefits and review EOBs for accurate reimbursement.
• Conduct projects to obtain timely reimbursement and contact third-party payers or patients as needed.
