Job summary

Colorado Mountain College is seeking adjunct faculty to support student learning across our community. Faculty will use available resources and technology to facilitate engaging classroom experiences and contribute to student success.

Candidates should have a master’s degree in a related field, at least one year of teaching experience, and strong computer and communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish abilities are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field or 18 graduate credits in related field.
• One year of full-time teaching experience required; higher education experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
• Bilingual English/Spanish abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes as assigned by supervisor.
• Prepare lesson plans aligned with course objectives.
• Develop and submit course outlines and syllabi.
• Develop measurable course objectives and plans.
• Build professional rapport with students and staff.
• Maintain accurate course records and complete forms.
• Be available for student consultation.
• Assist in recruitment of students.
• Assist in evaluation of curriculum and instructional performance.
• Represent the college professionally in the community.
• Engage in professional development for credentialing.
