Job summary

Colorado Mountain College is seeking adjunct faculty to support a range of programs, delivering courses and evaluating student learning while meeting course outcomes. Faculty will advise students, participate in curriculum processes, and contribute to the college's mission of student success.

Successful candidates will engage in scholarly activities, service on college committees, and ongoing professional development to maintain credentialing and instructional excellence.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a specific degree for the position or equivalent.
• Master’s Degree with at least 18 graduate credits in a related field.
• Minimum of one year full-time teaching experience; higher education teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes as assigned by designated supervisor.
• Prepare lesson plans aligned with approved course objectives.
• Develop and submit course outlines and syllabi to supervisor.
• Assist in development of measurable course objectives and plans.
• Develop a professional relationship with students and staff to encourage communication.
• Maintain accurate course records and complete course forms as required.
• Be available for student consultation.
• Assist in recruitment of students as appropriate.
• Assist in evaluation of curriculum and instructional performance.
• Represent the college professionally in communities and college district.
• Engage in professional development as required for credentialing.
