Job summary

Hotel Irvine is seeking a talented Cocktail Server with a passion for people and hospitality. The role requires high energy, a proactive approach and the ability to create memorable guest experiences.

You will anticipate guest needs, handle wine service, train on MICROS POS, maintain uniform standards and support bartenders during shifts. ABC compliance and bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of cocktailing/bartending experience.
• Valid Serve Safe and CA food handlers card.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and execute guests' needs at all times.
• Be familiar with tray and hand service methods.
• Knowledgeable in wine service and decanting.
• Provide high level service when presenting food and beverages.
• Carry multiple cocktails on a service tray with finesse.
• Communicate ingredients and preparation methods to guests.
• Maintain appearance and hygiene; follow uniform guidelines.
• Ensure bar is fully set up and back up bartenders as needed.
• Stay informed on trends and hotel surroundings to guide guests.
