Candidates must have 3+ years in dining, alcohol knowledge, excellent customer service, strong money handling skills, and a valid Food & Alcohol Handlers Card. Uniform and grooming standards apply; be prepared for late-night shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Red O Fashion Island is looking for experienced Cocktail servers to join the team! At Red O, we are committed to providing an unparalleled resort-style dining experience in a busy, fast paced environment. We serve exceptional Mexican cuisine and award-winning beverages designed to exceeds our guest’s expectations.We are searching for the best and brightest to join our team. Immediate openings available.

Cocktailer:

• As a professional cocktail server, you will be working late nights in high volume restaurant.
• Guide guest through suggestive drinks off the menu and offer pairing with food, tequila on the side, and execute Red O’s standard sequence of service.
• Have exceptional menu knowledge, including how dishes and beverages are prepared, what they taste like, and if special requests are allowed. Knowledge of food allergies is crucial and must be able to offer accommodations when applicable.
• Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
• Show up prepared to work in full uniform and according to grooming standards.
• Complete all weekly and monthly Cocktail cleaning duties.
• Execute proper “table” maintenance throughout the dining experience.
• Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
• Be a responsible alcohol vendor and know how to cut someone off.
• Ring in all orders immediately and always have tabs updated.
• Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in high volume restaurant

• Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced, high volume, finer dining establishment
• Have a positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with others
• Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system
