Job summary

Bickford Senior Living in Urbandale, IA is seeking a Certified Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities in a compassionate, dignity-preserving manner. You will follow each resident's care plan and collaborate with the care team to ensure comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, meals, and social activities, with ongoing communication to branch leadership. CNA certification and CPR/First Aid are required.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in good standing.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Know the residents you serve, providing care based on service plans.
• Assist in daily living activities, meals, and social engagement.
• Communicate with branch leadership when needs change.
• Care for residents with dementia using appropriate approaches.
