Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to perform delegated clinical and administrative duties in a busy clinic. The role may involve both clinical and front office functions to support physicians and providers, delivering patient care with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of a Medical Assistant training program, and one of the recognized CMA/AMT/NCCT/NAHP/NCMA/CCMA credentials. Prior EHR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and a Medical Assistant training program completed.
• CMA/AMT/NCCT/NAHP/NCMA/CCMA or similar CMA credential required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform delegated clinical and administrative duties in clinic and front office.
• Support health care delivery and patient care under physician/provider direction.
• Familiar with practice needs and able to adjust to patient flow.
