Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks a Certified Medical Assistant for the Physician Practice at Mercy Crest Family Medicine to support primary care physicians and deliver high-quality patient care.

The CMA will review and update health records, measure vital signs, prepare treatment rooms, and perform clerical tasks while upholding our values of compassion and service. Candidates should have a High School diploma and CMA certification; one year of medical assistant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent credential per certifying body.
• One year of medical assistant experience is preferred.
• Ability to review and update health records and measure vital signs.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service by greeting patients respectfully.
• Prepares and reviews patient charts for upcoming visits and verifies records.
• Measures vital signs such as pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight and height.
• Performs clerical duties including inventory checks and phone coverage.
• Troubleshoots and resolves problems promptly; other duties as assigned.
