Chicago Public Schools is seeking a licensed teacher responsible for instructional planning, progress, and discipline in assigned classes. The teacher will prepare lesson plans, implement modern teaching methods, and maintain records of student achievement.

Responsibilities include communicating with parents, attending in-service meetings, and participating in extracurricular activities as needed. Applicants must have completed student teaching and hold a valid Illinois teaching certificate

Qualifications

• Successful completion of student teaching requirements and coursework to obtain the appropriate teaching certificate issued by the Illinois State Board of Education.

Responsibilities

• Plan instructional activities and write lesson plans aligned with program objectives.
• Evaluate pupil progress and maintain accurate records of achievements.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about academic progress and conduct.
