Job summary

The teacher will design instructional activities aligned with standards, manage classrooms, deliver engaging lessons, assess progress, and collaborate with families and staff to support student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Teaching certification/licensure (depending on jurisdiction).
• Knowledge of curriculum standards and instructional strategies.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum Development: Develop and implement lesson plans, instructional materials, and learning activities that align with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
• Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom climate conducive to learning.
• Instructional Delivery: Deliver engaging and interactive instruction using a variety of teaching methods, techniques, and technologies.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Differentiated Instruction: Differentiate instruction to meet individual needs and provide extra support or enrichment.
