Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 60 semester or 90 quarter hours from a PSC-approved college or university.
• Satisfactory completion of GCPS Substitute Teacher Training or valid/expired teaching certificate, or student teaching with GCPS.
• Experience as substitute teacher or in classroom instruction.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom instruction for the teacher of record.
• Proctor standardized tests with appropriate training.
• Maintain classroom management and organize the learning environment.
• Follow student behavior intervention plans and communicate with parents.
