Job summary

Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel is seeking a friendly Restaurant Cashier to process non-gaming transactions, balance the cash drawer, and settle patron checks using the resort POS system. You will assist with seating guests, wiping silverware, and supporting Host or Busser functions as needed.

The role emphasizes excellent guest service, accurate math, and adherence to company policies. Shift hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule and compliance with training requirements is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or its equivalency preferred.
• Six (6) months of previous cashier or money handling experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of start-up and close-down of cash registers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Start-up and balance the cash drawer at the end of shift.
• Settle patron checks using the resort POS system and accept all tender types.
• Maintain cash accountability and complete related paperwork.
• Provide exceptional customer service and handle guest relations with tact.
• Assist with seating guests and maintaining dining room cleanliness per direction of the Room Manager.
