Hollywood Casino Joliet is seeking a friendly dining room team member to help set up and maintain a welcoming service area. You will assist wait staff, respond to guest needs, and help create a fun, entertaining dining experience for guests and teammates.

The role emphasizes guest service, sanitation, and teamwork. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred, English proficiency is required, and you must be 18 or older. This on-site position offers hourly pay ($15–$16) with benefits as eligible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Some experience in sanitation is preferred.
• Must be able to understand and speak English.
• Must be 18 years of age or over.

Responsibilities

• Clear and set up dining room; assist wait staff in serving food and beverages.
• Respond to guest requests for settings, water, condiments, or other dining amenities.
• Provide a high level of guest service and promote a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for guests and team members.
• Set up, arrange, or take down dining tables, private dining room, and/or wait stations.
• Prepares water pitchers and bread stations; stocks linens and dinnerware.
• Cleans and polishes various pieces of table ware and folds napkins.
• Assists wait staff in serving guests, carries food trays, and refills water glasses, coffee, and tea.
• Cleans, mops, and sweeps storeroom, various kitchen areas, and vents as assigned. Removes trash.
• Assists with kitchen work and general cleanup as directed.
• Follows safety rules and keeps work area clean and orderly.
