Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months customer service experience.
• Experience with data entry and cash handling.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to established customer service standards and provide a differentiated experience by understanding customer needs.
• Educate customers through shoulder-to-shoulder digital demonstrations; identify self-service opportunities that meet identified needs.
• Actively engage in lobby management, greeting customers and addressing immediate needs.
• Accurately balance and process customer transactions following Bank Policy.
• Resolve escalated account services issues and log complaints in the system.
• Transition identified sales opportunities and introduce the customer to the banking partner.
• Perform branch-related operational activities (cash ordering, vault, ATM, wires).
• Process customer/account maintenance accurately.
• Complete AML/KYC-related activities.
• Adhere to compliance and risk controls.
• Promote the M&T Bank brand and work environment.
