Job summary

Sam Houston Race Park is seeking a personable Bartender to deliver friendly, efficient beverage service during live racing, simulcast racing, concerts and special events. You will handle alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, maintain a clean bar, process transactions, and ensure responsible service.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine and spirits, strong customer service, cash handling, POS experience, and is available for evenings, weekends, holidays, and high-volume events.

Qualifications

• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, professional service.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar and stock supplies.
• Operate POS and process payments accurately.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service and verify IDs as required.
• Work with staff to deliver a seamless guest experience at live racing, simulcast events, concerts and private events.
