Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic Bartender to join our Charlottesville team. You will be responsible for preparing drinks to guest preferences, maintaining a clean bar, and ensuring guests are engaged and satisfied throughout their visit.

The ideal candidate has at least three years in bartending, high school education, and relevant certifications are a plus. This tipped-eligible position offers daily pay options and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of alcohol serving practices and standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally.

Responsibilities

• Sets up bar with appropriate beverages and supplies.
• Keeps bar, glasses and cutlery clean and sanitized.
• Verifies guests are of legal drinking age.
• Prepares drinks per standard recipes and guest preferences.
• Present and settles bar bills; processes payments.
• Engages with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Monitors for overconsumption and acts accordingly.
• Secures and inventories all beverage and equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
