Job summary

Jimmy's Seafood Inc. in Baltimore seeks an experienced bartender/server to mix and serve drinks for bar and dining/event room guests, take orders, and provide exceptional service. You will inform guests of specials, handle payments with accuracy, and keep the bar area clean and organized.

The role requires 18+ and prior bartending or bar/restaurant experience is preferred. Training in food handling and alcohol awareness is a plus, with a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in bartender position or bar/restaurant environment preferred.
• Food handling and alcohol awareness training preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for guests of bar and dining/event room.
• Take orders; serve food and beverages.
• Inform guests of specials and promotions, answer questions and make suggestions.
• Present bills, accept payments, operate POS systems, uphold strict cash handling procedures and accountability for all transactions.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of bar area.
• Perform opening/closing responsibilities.
• Practice safe food handling and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Adhere to quality standards and restaurant rules and procedures.
• Participate in the company's social media program by posting/sharing company fliers to personal social media accounts, if available.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned
