Job summary

Coury Hospitality in Grapevine, TX is seeking a Barback to support bartenders and service staff. You will help with setup, stocking, and guest assistance during peak hours, ensuring a smooth flow at the bar and dining area.

The role requires strong communication and attention to detail to maintain service quality. We expect you to move quickly yet gracefully, keep the bar organized and well stocked, and uphold sanitation practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume bar or restaurant settings.
• Ability to maintain sanitation standards.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Assists Bartenders, Servers and Hosts in properly serving food and beverages when requested.
• Clears, cleans and resets bar per sanitation standards to be ready for the next guest.
• Responsible for crumbing tables, as directed by the Server.
• Transports dirty tableware from the dining room to the dish drop area and sorts accordingly.
• Maintains stock and cleanliness of bar for all meal periods with necessary equipment.
• Wipes down bar and chairs. Moves tables and chairs and clean floors as necessary.
• Maintains an organized and fully stocked bar within each shift.
• Ensures bar is stocked and visually appealing.
• Responds immediately to guest service issues and reports to the appropriate Server or Manager on Duty.
• Maintains an acceptable appearance for station and surrounding area.
• Responsible for special cleaning projects as determined by weekly needs.
• Additional tasks may be assigned by the Manager.
• Maintains communication and teamwork with all co-workers and supervisors.
• Conducts oneself professionally with actions and communications in guest view.
