Qualifications

• Must hold Food/Beverage Service Worker permit where applicable.
• High school reasoning level required.
• Requires 8th grade language level.
• Requires 8th grade math level.
• Working knowledge of wine, liquor and inventory methods.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.
• Previous supervisory/management experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.
• No employee will pose a direct threat to health/safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive leadership to inspire staff to meet standards.
• Keep the bar clean and organized.
• Maintain open communication for information flow.
• Maintain scheduling and labor costs.
• Promote employee empowerment.
• Report all unsafe conditions immediately.
• Assist with selection, training, supervision of staff.
• Use proper guidelines for control of pour costs.
• Record all banquet liquor and wine.
• Monitor staffing of beverage outlets.
• Perform duties of supervised position when needed.
• Stock and set up banquet bars.
• Attend required meetings.
• Complete paperwork relating to beverage operations.
• Conduct performance appraisals.
• Supervise setup of happy hour buffet to Company standards.
• Cross-train as assigned.
