Job summary

TeamLINX, headquartered in the US, seeks an Audio Visual Installation Technician to install and test AV and security systems, wiring, and networks. You’ll work on ladders and with power tools, often traveling across Texas to job sites, lifting up to 50 lbs and following BICSI/ NEC standards.

The role requires reliability, the ability to work independently or under supervision, and a customer-focused approach. Experience in commercial AV is a plus; a valid license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with cabling installation and NEC/BICSI compliant testing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Cabling installation and termination (all media types); testing and documentation.
• Install cameras, TVs, speakers and other AV equipment.
• Perform cable pulling, suspension, fireproofing, terminating, and testing per standards (BICSI, NEC).
• Maintain neat, high-quality workmanship and strong customer service.
• Travel to job sites across Texas; may travel outside Texas.
