Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education Administration or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience as a classroom teacher.
• Possession of a North Carolina teaching certificate.
• Valid North Carolina driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Major Function: Pre-Class Organization—assist in student orientation and registration activities.
• Major Function: Planning the School Program—assist in developing school goals and instructional program.
• Major Function: Implementing the School Program—provide direction to staff and assist in development.
• Major Function: Evaluating and Remediation—the school program and staff; initiate improvements.
• Involvement in Budget Allocations—staff involvement in setting budget priorities.
• Keep professionally competent—update own professional knowledge and skills.
• Coordinating Budgets and Schedules—assist in budgets and coordination of co-curricular program.
• Handling Disciplinary Procedures—define and disseminate policy to parents, students, staff, and community.
• Coordinating and Communicating the School’s Formal Structure—communicate policies and program goals to the community.
• Coordinating School Services and Resources—supervise and use community resources to supplement the program.
• Facilitating Organizational Efficiency—maintain open communications and positive attitudes.
• Assisting in Record Keeping—assist in records and reports and inventory of supplies.
