Job summary

FORCE America is seeking an Assembly Technician in Brookfield, WI. This role requires assembling, disassembling, and repairing specified product lines; basic product knowledge and use of common hand and power tools are essential.

Team-oriented environment with focus on quality and safety. Minimum qualifications include an Associates degree in fluid power or related field (preferred), High School diploma or GED, and 1 year of relevant experience (preferred).

Qualifications

Associates degree in Fluid Power, Mechatronics, or related field strongly preferred; Certified Fluid Power Specialist preferred.
High School Diploma or GED.
1 year of relevant work experience preferred.
Mechanical aptitude.
Familiarity with hand and power tools.
Strong sense of urgency and basic ability to prioritize to meet customer expectations.
Detail oriented to provide the highest level of quality.

Responsibilities

Assemble fundamental components per work instructions using hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
Assemble entry-level products to meet standards for quality, quantity, efficiency, and customer specifications.
Communicate with appropriate parties regarding expedited orders, quality issues, inventory records, etc.
Participate in implementing process improvements.
Maintain safety practices and procedures.
Maintain an orderly work environment.
Record transactions in ERP system.
Work as a team to achieve goals.
Other duties as assigned.
