Job summary

The Domain Companies in New York City is seeking a hands-on Handyman to maintain and improve our residential properties. You will handle resident requests, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and general repairs.

Requirements include 2–3 years of handyman experience, painting skills, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently or with a team. Fluency in English and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and complete resident service requests.
• Read and follow supervisor instructions for cleaning and maintenance.
• Plan work schedules to ensure adequate service for residents.
• Complete unit-turns and maintain vacant units.
• Assist with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, etc.
• Paint and upkeep of hallways and doors.
• Ensure safety and proper use of tools and materials.
