Job summary

East Valley Institute of Technology is seeking a Substitute Instructor for Anatomy and Physiology (BIO 201/L & 202/L) to join a pool of qualified candidates at EVIT. Under supervision, the Substitute Teacher provides classroom instruction and supervision during the temporary absence of a regular teacher, maintaining a safe, structured, and positive learning environment while implementing lesson plans.

Substitutes will also prepare reports and feedback for the regular teacher regarding student

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Anatomy & Physiology, Human Biology, Nursing, or closely related field.
• 18 graduate-level credits in the subject biological and/or life science with a grade of 'C' or higher.
• At least one year of collegiate-level teaching experience.
• Experience using Canvas, Google Classroom, and ExamSoft or similar LMS.
• Valid Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card from AZ DPS.
• Immunization against or immunity to measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) if born after 1957.
