Zusammenfassung

Brooklyn College Community Partnership (BCCP) seeks a Temporary Site Coordinator to lead a DYCD-funded Compass middle school program from October 2026 to February 2027 at Brooklyn College. The role oversees daily site operations, staff supervision, and activities that align with school-day learning to support youth development.

You will maintain participant records, ensure safety and inclusivity, coordinate with school personnel and partners, and report hours weekly.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree (bachelor’s preferred) in child development, elementary education, physical education, or related field with 2 years’ direct experience with children under 13, including at least 1 year in supervision.
• Alternative credentials accepted: NYS Children’s Program Administrator Credential with 2 years’ supervisory experience; SACC Credential or similar; or 2 years of college with 18 credits plus 2 years of supervisory experience.

Aufgaben

• Oversee daily site operations and ensure after‑school activities meet program goals.
• Recruit, enroll, and track attendance; communicate with parents and school personnel.
• Supervise staff; provide coaching and motivation for high‑quality service delivery.
• Collaborate with school administrators and partner organizations on program initiatives.
• Plan engaging activities to support youth development and complement school learning.
• Maintain equipment and certifications; ensure compliance with NYC DOE and DYCD requirements.
• Lead weekly team meetings; review staff timesheets and report hours.
• Foster a safe, welcoming, inclusive environment for all participants.
