Job summary

Taste Buds Kitchen is seeking an Adult Cooking Class Instructor on a part-time schedule (10-15 hrs/week). You will lead hands-on adult cooking sessions, from date nights to corporate events, energizing groups and collaborating with culinary staff.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in food service or related fields, strong public speaking skills, and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). Pay starts at $20/hr plus tips, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in food service, culinary, hospitality, education, or public speaking/entertaining.
• CPR certified (or willing to obtain).
• Available one weekend day/night consistently; weekday availability a plus.
• Confident speaking to a room full of adults (amplified voice).
• Comfortable across a range of cuisines and techniques.
• Comfortable leading and working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Instruct adult cooking classes and events - date nights, birthdays, bachelorette parties, corporate events
• Guide groups through hands-on recipes with energy and confidence, alongside a team of culinary assistants
• Set up before class, clean up after, manage a staff of helpful assistants
• Ensure a great, consistent guest experience for every class
