Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field or Master's with 18 graduate credits in related field
• Minimum 1 year full-time teaching experience; higher education teaching experience preferred
• Credentialing eligibility to teach in the program
• Knowledge of pedagogy and teaching experience
• Strong background in computers and technology
• Excellent organizational and office skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn; ability to research and analyze data
• Ability to work independently toward goals and deadlines
• Welcoming, innovative mindset focused on student success

Responsibilities

• Teach classes as assigned by designated supervisor.
• Prepare lesson plans aligned with course objectives.
• Develop and submit course outlines and syllabi to supervisor.
• Develop measurable course objectives and plans.
• Foster professional relationships with students and staff.
• Maintain accurate course records and complete required forms.
• Be available for student consultation.
• Assist in recruitment of students when appropriate.
• Assist in curriculum evaluation when appropriate.
• Represent the college professionally within the community.
• Engage in required professional development for credentialing.
