Job summary

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; or a Bachelor's plus TEFL/TESL certificate or FLDOE ESOL endorsement. A student-centered, professional approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• Bachelor's degree AND TEFL/TESL Certificate from an accredited institution or FLDOE ESOL Endorsement.
• Demonstrated understanding of learner-centered teaching and professional background.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to utilize technology to enhance teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and post course syllabi in the college system by deadlines.
• Prepare for and deliver class, studio, clinical, or lab instruction.
• Use instructional materials to plan and deliver learning.
• Develop or modify assignments and assessments to meet learning outcomes.
• Grade student work and provide timely feedback.
• Participate in professional development opportunities.
• Stay current with CANVAS and department guidelines.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve curricula and student success.
