Job summary

Cridersville Health Care Center is seeking an energetic, creative, and compassionate Activity Director to lead our resident activities and engagement program. You will develop and lead a diverse activities program designed around the interests, abilities, and individual needs of our residents.

Responsibilities include planning daily and weekly activities, developing a monthly calendar, and creating programming that promotes socialization, cognitive stimulation, physical activity, and overall

Qualifications

• Experience in activities, recreation, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or related field preferred.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead engaging daily, weekly, and special activities for residents.
• Develop and maintain a monthly activity calendar.
• Create programming that promotes socialization, recreation, cognitive stimulation, physical activity, and well-being.
• Build relationships with local organizations, volunteers, entertainers, churches, schools, and community partners.
• Collaborate with nursing, social services, dietary, therapy, and other departments to enhance resident experience.
• Lead and support activity staff and volunteers.
