Job summary

New Ulm Public Schools is seeking an energetic Activities Director to oversee all 5-12 co-curricular programs. You will work with coaches, advisors, boosters and administration to meet district goals and steward program growth.

The role requires a minimum of two years as an Activities Director and five years of HS coaching experience, plus strong organizational and communication abilities. Salary; benefits included; start Nov 2, 2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in education or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of successful high school coaching experience.
• Minimum of two years of successful Activities Director experience.
• Experience with youth programs.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize and administer all 5-12 co-curricular programs.
• Provide leadership in selection, assignment, development and evaluation of coaches, activity advisors and staff.
• Develop and maintain positive school and community relations through communications and events.
• Schedule and coordinate all district activity events.
• Interpret MSHSL rules and district policy for activities and ensure stakeholders are informed.
• Develop and manage the activities department budget.
• Arrange supplies, equipment and uniforms for programs.
• Coordinate officials and judges for all programs.
• Supervise and coordinate events.
• Perform administrative tasks to support the district.
