Job summary

Qcells USA Corp. in Cartersville, GA seeks a Wafer Production Technician (DWS Operation) to keep diamond wire saw equipment running safely and efficiently in a fast-paced line. You will perform basic maintenance, monitor alarms, and coordinate with engineers to resolve issues that affect output and quality.

You must read and follow SOPs, handle materials, and maintain clean, organized work areas while supporting production targets and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience with production equipment and reading SOPs is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret production specifications and quality standards.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Performs shift-based work as required.
• Manages material input and replacement to ensure uninterrupted machine operation.
• Maintains the cleanliness of machines and components using standard tools.
• Addresses machine alarms promptly and escalates deviations when necessary.
• Monitors equipment settings, coolant flow, tension, and wire conditions.
• Collaborates with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Ensures compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
