Qualifications

• Veterinary student in any grade can apply for externship.
• Externs work with supervising veterinarians and learn clinic management tasks.
• Focus on communication, time management, record keeping, and client relations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the supervising veterinarian on client communication and patient histories.
• Assist in creating treatment plans, diagnostics, and in-house lab tasks.
• Observe or assist surgical procedures and general medical management of patients.
