Qualifications

• Learning opportunities and responsibilities are subject to vary based on year in school and hospital needs.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the supervising veterinarian to gain experience in client communication, gathering patient histories, performing physical exams, reviewing estimates, and ownership of cases by creating treatment plans.
• Observe/assist or perform surgical procedures including dental procedures, and overall medical management of patients.
• Develop time management, record keeping, and relationship-building skills with the medical team, support staff, and clients.
