Job summary

LG Electronics is seeking a Project Engineer II for DirectView LED DVLED installations in the United States. You’ll serve as LG’s on-site technical authority, guiding system integration partners from first site visit to final sign-off, turning complex plans into flawless installations.

Work with customers and cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, solve challenges, and uphold LG’s quality standards. Willingness to travel and strong collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.
• 5–7 years of hands-on DVLED installation experience.
• Knowledge of DVLED technology, mounting systems, LED module handling, and best practices.
• Experience with NovaStar and Megapixel LED controllers and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and design tools (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Visio).
• Ability to read and interpret A/V, electrical, and mechanical drawings.
• Understanding of IT, networking, and A/V system integration.
• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment; travel up to 75%.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site technical authority guiding system integration partners.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and partners to keep installations on schedule.
• Train installation teams on procedures and product operation.
• Troubleshoot installation, configuration, and system integration issues.
• Evaluate site readiness, safety, and infrastructure before work begins.
• Verify BOMs, shipping documents, and equipment prior to installation.
• Maintain daily status reports and technical findings throughout the lifecycle.
• Provide insights to influence next-gen DVLED product improvements.
• Represent LG at industry events with technical expertise and product setup.
• Provide remote technical support when on-site is not required.
