Job summary

LG Electronics is seeking a Project Engineer II/I for DVLED installations, acting as the on-site technical authority with system integration partners, customers, and LG teams. You will guide installations from site visit to sign-off, troubleshooting in real time and ensuring adherence to LG quality standards.

In this role, you’ll lead field installations of DirectView LED technology, train teams, and provide remote support when needed. Travel is extensive, and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Technical School certification in Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 2–4 years of hands-on DirectView LED installation experience.
• Knowledge of DVLED technology and installation best practices.
• Experience with NovaStar and Megapixel control systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and design tools (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Visio).
• Ability to read and interpret A/V, electrical, and mechanical drawings.
• IT, networking, and system integration knowledge.
• Strong communication, time management and decision-making skills.
• Willingness to lift heavy equipment and travel up to 75%.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Drive project success by coordinating with Project Managers and partners to keep installations on schedule.
• Train installation teams on installation and product operation.
• Serve as LG's on-site technical liaison between customers, sales, vendors, and integration partners.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation, configuration, and system integration issues.
• Ensure site readiness by evaluating environment, safety, and infrastructure requirements.
• Verify inventory, BOMs, and shipping documents before installation.
• Capture project progress with daily status reports and documentation.
• Provide technical insights to influence next-gen DVLED product improvements.
• Represent LG at industry events with technical expertise and product setup.
• Provide remote technical support when on-site support is not required.
