We’re looking for an experienced Project Engineer II who thrives in the field, someone who can turn complex technical plans into flawlessly executed installations while building strong partnerships and delivering jaw-dropping results.

In this role, you’ll be the on-site technical authority, guiding System Integration Partners from the first site visit to final sign-off. You’ll solve problems in real time, optimize installation workflows, and ensure every project reflects LG’s uncompromising quality standards.

What You’ll Do

As a Project Engineer II, you'll be at the forefront of delivering some of the industry's most innovative DirectView LED (DVLED) installations. Serving as LG's primary on-site technical representative, you'll partner with System Integration teams, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders to transform complex engineering designs into world-class visual experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Project Success – Coordinate with Project Managers and System Integration Partners to ensure installations remain on schedule and are executed efficiently.
  • Train Installation Teams – Provide installation and product operation training for system integrators, technicians, and LG personnel to ensure successful project execution.
  • Serve as LG's Technical Expert – Act as the primary on-site technical liaison between customers, sales teams, vendors, and integration partners.
  • Solve Complex Challenges – Partner with Technical Engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve installation, configuration, and system integration issues.
  • Ensure Site Readiness – Evaluate installation environments to verify site conditions, infrastructure, safety requirements, and overall project readiness before work begins.
  • Validate Project Materials – Verify inventory, bills of materials (BOMs), shipping documentation, and equipment prior to installation.
  • Capture Project Progress – Maintain accurate documentation, daily status reports, technical findings, and project updates throughout the installation lifecycle.
  • Champion Product Innovation – Provide technical insights that directly influence next-gen DVLED product improvements while representing customer needs to Product Management teams.
  • Represent LG at Industry Events – Support product demonstrations, trade shows, customer events, and LG Brand Innovation Centers with technical expertise and product setup.
  • Provide Remote Technical Support – Assist customers and partners with troubleshooting and technical guidance when onsite support is not required.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) or related field.
  • 5–7 years of hands-on DirectView LED installation experience.
  • Working knowledge of DVLED technology, mounting systems, LED module handling, and installation best practices.
  • Deep understanding of NovaStar and Megapixel LED display controllers, including system configuration, commissioning, calibration, firmware management, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and design tools (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Visio).
  • Strong ability to read and interpret A/V, electrical, and mechanical drawings.
  • Understanding of IT, networking, and A/V system integration.
  • Exceptional communication, time management, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Skilled in documenting and escalating technical issues.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment safely.
  • Comfort working in high-stakes, fast-paced environments—independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
  • Knowledge of site safety procedures, safe tool use, and ladder safety.
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools while following established job site safety procedures.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and flexibility to travel extensively (75%).
Preferred Qualifications
  • CTS / CTS-I certification.
  • Experience supporting large-scale commercial AV or DirectView LED installations.
  • OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety certification required; OSHA 30-Hour certification strongly preferred.
  • Track record of successful cross-functional collaboration (Sales, Service, Project Management, Sales Engineering).
  • Proven success supporting System Integration Partners and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Recruiting Range

$90,000—$105,000 USD
