Role

As the face of United in the skies, you will be entrusted with our customers' safety and comfort. Your Dutch fluency will be a key asset, allowing you to provide personalized, thoughtful service to a diverse global audience. Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional, personalized customer service with optimism and a genuine desire to help.
  • Use outstanding interpersonal skills to resolve issues with understanding and compassion, building customer loyalty on every flight.
  • Embrace a 24/7 global operation with complete flexibility, including weekends, holidays, and extended trips away from home.
  • Work reliably and independently as a crucial part of a dedicated onboard team.
  • Be prepared to serve meals and beverages, operate cabin equipment, and manage situations with confidence and poise.
Qualifications
  • Be at least 21 years of age and a high school graduate or GED holder (some college is preferred).
  • Possess at least one year of customer service experience in industries like hospitality, retail, or education.
  • Fluency is required: you must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently, and speak and read Dutch fluently.
  • Have a valid U.S. passport (or foreign passport with appropriate U.S. work visas) in your physical possession at the time of application, with at least 18 months of validity remaining.
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Meet specific physical requirements, including the ability to lift, push/pull a service cart, and pass a functional reach test.
  • Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with our grooming and uniform standards, including guidelines on visible tattoos and piercings.
  • Be willing and able to pass a comprehensive 10-year background check, pre-employment drug screening, and medical evaluation.
Training & Rewards

During this time, United provides a weekly stipend, hotel accommodations, and meals.
