Job summary

Mercor is seeking native Dutch speakers to evaluate AI-narrated audiobooks in Dutch (Netherlands). This remote, part-time role (~20 hours/week) involves listening with a careful ear, flagging mispronunciations, skips, or awkward phrasing to help improve underlying models.

Ideal candidates are native or near-native Dutch speakers with working English, plus experience in annotation, transcription, or linguistics. Flexible, remote work with strong attention to detail is offered.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Dutch (Netherlands).
• Enough working English to report clearly and communicate with the team.
• Some experience with annotation, labeling, transcription, proofreading, linguistics, or other detail-oriented review work.

Responsibilities

• Listen to AI-narrated audiobooks in Dutch and assess naturalness, accuracy, and enjoyment.
• Log errors in synthesized speech: skipped, added, mispronounced words; numbers; abbreviations; phrasing and intonation.
• Categorize issues and mark exact spans; report on overall listener satisfaction and naturalness.
