Carpe, based in Durham, NC, is seeking an in-house ad writer focused on short-form video ads. You’ll craft hooks, scripts, and multiple angles to drive scrolling and sales, with fast iterations and real-time feedback from a collaborative creative team.

You’ll write for real people, manage a steady queue of scripts, and adapt quickly to feedback while staying within product claims and offer language. In-person, full-time role in Durham.

Formación

• You've written paid social ads, preferably video for a consumer brand.
• Can show scripts or ads you wrote and how they performed.
• Writes like people speak and can scale output without quality loss.
• Able to take direction and turn feedback quickly.

Responsabilidades

• Write ads and scripts for short form video ads (UGC, founder-led, etc.).
• Develop multiple hooks and openings for each script.
• Write authentic copy that people say aloud.
• Maintain a full queue of scripts for producers.
• Identify angles and learn from reviews, comments, and competitor ads.
• Turn one idea into many versions for different audiences.
• Track which ads carry spend and why.
• Collaborate with the creative team and hand off to producers/editors with clear direction.
• Incorporate feedback quickly and revise within the same day.
• Write within product claims and offer language every time.
