Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to sit, stand, crouch, push and pull equipment.
• Ability to clean equipment by hand and/or using a larger automated washer.
• Professional interaction with the public and co-workers.
• Reliable and insured vehicle; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize durable medical equipment and other items that are returned and/or donated.
• Identify items that are not in repairable condition so they can be disposed of.
• Repair items that can be easily fixed (e.g., tighten screws, replace walker skis).
• Keep all Loan Closet areas stocked, organized, and clean.
• Maintain clear documentation of each consumer connection including equipment needs, actions taken, communication efforts and outcomes.
• Coordinate the delivery and/or pickup of medical equipment.
