Job summary

Stellantis Financial Services is seeking a Durability Product Development Technician to fabricate transducers and apply strain gauges to vehicle subsystems for road load data acquisition. The role includes documenting results and supporting Road Test Simulator data collection on various test rigs and vehicles.

Responsibilities include installation of sensors, troubleshooting instrumented vehicles, and fixture work for MAST testing with welding and machining tasks.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with suspension/driveline systems and components.
• Experience with fabrication skills such as welding & machining.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate transducers and fixtures to measure strain, displacement, rotation, etc.
• Document results and instrument vehicle data for Road Test Simulator acquisitions.
• Install wheel force transducers and other sensors on vehicles for road load data acquisition.
• Troubleshoot instrumented vehicles and transducers during testing.
• Build fixtures for MAST testing; weld, machine and disassemble prototype chassis/driveline components.
• Travel day trips to Chelsea Proving Grounds to support data acquisitions.
