Job summary

Four Seasons Maui seeks a Duo AM Manager to lead the DUO Restaurant team, ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to luxury standards. You will plan, train, and supervise staff, maintaining high-quality service across all dayparts and menus.

The role requires at least 2 years of F&B management in a luxury resort, plus knowledge of service standards, cost and labor control, and proper handling of certifications such as Hawaii Food Handler, Maui Liquor Card, ServSafe, and TB clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years Front of the House F&B management experience in a high-standard resort setting.
• Working knowledge of F&B division operations, standards, and SOPs.
• Proficient in English; strong guest relations and service mindset.
• Ability to operate computers and F&B computer systems; Hawaii-specific certifications listed below.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, control and direct the work of employees in the DUO Restaurant to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Coach, motivate, and discipline staff, ensuring standards are met and guest needs are addressed.
• Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods with wine/spirits knowledge.

DUO AM Manager

Plan, organize, control and direct the work of employees in the DUO Restaurant while ensuring guest satisfaction. This role is part of the Food & Beverage Division, reporting to the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage. Candidates must have valid authorization to work in the United States at the time of application.

What You Will Do

• Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees, supervisors and assistant managers in the Hotel's All Day or Fine Dining Restaurant to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met long-range strategic planning for outlet operation.
• The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.
• Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

What You Will Bring

• Minimum of 2 years Front of the House F&B management experience required preferably in a high standard resort setting.
• Requires a working knowledge of division operations as well as Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures. Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job.
• Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.
• Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Hawaii Food Handler Card
• Maui Liquor Card
• ServSafe (within 3 months)
• Tuberculosis Clearance
