Tyson Foods in Forest, MS is seeking a Dumper Operator for C Shift with starting pay of $20.40 per hour. The role involves setting up and operating the mechanical dumper while upholding a safe workplace and Tyson policies.

Applicants should be able to stand long hours and handle physical tasks in a production setting. This position may require operating a frontend loader or forklift in the future and certification to do so may be needed.

Qualifications

• Standing long hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, shoveling, climbing stairs and ladders up to 60 feet, bending and reaching in extreme heat/cold/odors.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and perform basic mechanical maintenance.
• Must be able to read and complete required logs.
• Must be able to communicate with supervisor and co-workers via two-way radio.
• May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Must be willing and able to meet the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Shift : C Shift - Days

Starting Pay : $20.40 per hour

Location River Valley ingredients in Forest, MS

This position is responsible for setting up and operating the mechanical dumper while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Applicants will be considered for any general production opening. These openings require:

• Standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, shoveling, climbing stairs and ladders up to 60 feet, bending, stretching, reaching, working in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and perform basic mechanical and maintenance functions.
• Maintain clean work area by use of soap and high pressure hose.
• Must be able to read and complete required logs.
• Must be able to communicate with supervisor and co-workers via two-way radio.
• May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• May be required to operate frontend loader or forklift and will be required to obtain certification to do so.

Must have a minimum 6 months work history with one employer within the past 12 months. Prefer 3 Consecutive months Operator experience within last 2 years.

Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
