Tyson Foods is seeking a Dumper Operator in Forest, MS to set up and operate the mechanical dumper while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies. Applicants will be considered for general production openings.

The role may require operating a frontend loader or forklift after obtaining the necessary certification; start-date benefits and onsite expectations apply at River Valley ingredients in Forest, MS.

Qualifications

• Standing for long periods
• Lifting up to 50 pounds
• Shoveling
• Climbing stairs and ladders up to 60 feet
• Bending, stretching, reaching
• Working in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and perform basic mechanical and maintenance functions
• Maintain clean work area by use of soap and high pressure hose
• Must be able to read and complete required logs
• Must be able to communicate with supervisor and co-workers via two-way radio
• May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
• May be required to operate frontend loader or forklift and will be required to obtain certification to do so

This position is responsible for setting up and operating the mechanical dumper while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Applicants will be considered for any general production opening.
