Landwehr Construction is seeking a reliable Class A Truck Driver to support highway and heavy construction projects. This role transports equipment, materials, and aggregates to and from job sites, ensuring safety and timeliness.

You will operate dump trucks, belly dumps, lowboys, and flatbeds, with a strong focus on load securement, DOT compliance, and accurate logs, while coordinating with dispatch and field supervisors.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Experience in construction or heavy civil preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and load securement standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class A Truck Driver to join our team in support of highway and heavy construction projects. This position plays a key role in the transportation of construction equipment, materials, and aggregate products to and from job sites in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles, including dump trucks, belly dumps, lowboys, and flatbeds.
• Transport heavy equipment, construction materials, and aggregates to job sites as needed.
• Ensure loads are properly secured and comply with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain accurate driver logs, trip sheets, and delivery records.
• Assist with loading and unloading when necessary.
• Coordinate with field supervisors and dispatch to support project timelines.
• Adhere to safety protocols at all times, especially in and around active job sites.

Requirements:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience, preferably in the construction or heavy civil industry.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and load securement standards.
• Experience hauling heavy equipment and operating various trailer types is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
