Qualifications

Role Description This full-time, on-site Dump Truck Driver role is based in Southampton, NJ. The Dump Truck Driver will safely operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, soil, and construction debris to and from job sites. Daily responsibilities include performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, following designated routes and schedules, and adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies. The driver will load and unload materials as directed, coordinate with site supervisors and dispatch, and complete required logs and documentation. The role also involves maintaining the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle and communicating any mechanical issues promptly.

Qualifications

  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements and a clean driving record.
  • Proficiency in operating dump trucks and related equipment, including proper use of hydraulics and safety controls.
  • Experience performing routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
  • Ability to follow delivery schedules, read maps or GPS, and navigate local and regional routes safely.
  • Strong awareness of safety procedures for construction sites, loading/unloading, and material handling.
  • Reliable time management, attention to detail, and ability to complete delivery and inspection documentation accurately.
  • Physical ability to climb in and out of vehicles, handle materials as required, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Effective communication skills to work with dispatchers, site managers, and team members in a professional manner.
  • Previous experience in dump truck or construction hauling is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
