Job summary

PACIFIC TRUCKING INC in North Carolina is seeking a safe, local truck driver for routes within 60 miles of our terminal. We offer a predictable schedule and a weekly pay cycle. Candidates should live within 60 miles and share our commitment to safety and reliability.

Night time drivers earn $20/hr; day time pay is the same rate. A minimum of 2 years of commercial driving and a Class A or B license, plus a clean driving record and no recent DWI/DUI, are required.

Qualifications

• A. Class A or B Driver's licence in good standing.
• B. 2+ years commercial driving experience required.
• C. No Serious accident in the last 3 years.
• D. No DWI/DUI in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Daily inspections of the vehicle at the end of the shift and report any problems.
• Comply with all DOT and in-house rules and regulations.
• Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel and interactions with clients.
• Serve as brand ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public.
• Manage routes and routines for maximum efficiency.
• Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately.
• Complete a daily truck log and submit reports to the lead driver.
• Haul stones from quarries and haul dirt dump sites.
• Fill out Pre-Trip and Post-Trip inspections sheets.
• Be a team player within a fleet of dump trucks.

Dump Truck Driver DAY TIME 2 YEARS OR MORE EXPERIENCE A MUST

I hate the nights spent away from home? You might flourish in our open position for a local truck driver. As long as you live 60 miles of our terminal, we want to talk to you. We are looking for a safe, courteous driver who values a predictable schedule. Our company make safety our number one priority, which is reflected in our impeccable safety record. We maintain our entire fleet with dedicated precision, we don't employ owner operators, so we retain control over our vehicles. We pay weekly, including mileage.
