Dump Truck DriverPosition Title: Dump Truck DriverLocation: Jonesburg, MOCompany: Sellenriek ConstructionKey ResponsibilitiesDump Truck OperationsSafely operate dump trucks to haul materials to and from job sitesTransport dirt, rock, gravel, asphalt, equipment, debris, and other materials as neededLoad and unload materials safely and efficientlyFollow assigned routes, schedules, and dispatch instructionsCommunicate with supervisors, dispatch, crews, and customers as neededDeliver materials on time while maintaining safe operating practicesManeuver trucks safely on jobsites, yards, roads, and tight work areasAssist with basic jobsite support as needed when not drivingSafety & ComplianceFollow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, company policies, and safety standardsComplete pre-trip and post-trip inspections dailyReport equipment issues, maintenance needs, damage, or safety concerns promptlyMaintain accurate logs, tickets, inspection forms, and required documentationSecure loads properly and follow safe hauling proceduresFollow jobsite safety rules, PPE requirements, and directions from supervisorsOperate safely around equipment, crews, pedestrians, traffic, and active construction areasTruck & Equipment CareKeep truck clean, organized, and in good operating conditionMonitor truck condition throughout the day and report any concernsCheck fuel, fluids, tires, lights, brakes, and other basic truck componentsCoordinate with supervisors or mechanics for maintenance and repairsHelp minimize downtime through proper equipment care and communicationTeam SupportWork professionally with supervisors, dispatch, mechanics, crews, customers, and vendorsMaintain a positive attitude and strong work ethicBe flexible with daily assignments based on workload and project needsSupport safe, efficient, and productive field operationsRepresent the company professionally while on the road, at jobsites, and with customersQualificationsValid Class A CDL requiredPrevious dump truck, hauling, trucking, or construction driving experience preferredMust have a clean and safe driving mindsetAbility to follow DOT regulations and company safety policiesAbility to complete inspections, logs, tickets, and required paperwork accuratelyComfortable driving in construction zones, yards, jobsites, and varying road conditionsStrong communication skills and ability to follow dispatch instructionsReliable, punctual, and able to work independentlyAbility to pass required pre-employment screeningSchedule & Work EnvironmentTypical schedule may include up to 10-hour workdaysWork may include local hauling, jobsite deliveries, yard work, and construction supportOutdoor work in varying weather conditionsWork around heavy equipment, construction crews, traffic, dirt, rock, and active jobsites
